The Inundation Impacted Areas Recede Fully

Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency (BPBD) recorded all the inundation impacted areas have receded fully at 3 PM, Monday (7/7).

Jakarta BPBD Head, Inawa Adji thanked the collaborative efforts by related agencies such as BPBD, Water Resources Agency, Fire Handling and Rescue Agency, Bina Marga Agency, Environmental Agency, Satpol PP and urban village's PPSU for deploying their personnel and equipment in handling the inundation.

"The communities role such as RT/RW caretakers, FKDM, and others are also involved," he said.

45 Personnel Deployed for Post-Flood Response in Pela Mampang

The Jakarta BPBD appealed to the public to remain careful and alert to the potential for flooding.

"Please contact our free 24-hour service at 112 for an emergency situation," he added.

Previously, heavy rain poured Jakarta and its surrounding since Saturday (7/5) to Sunday (7/6) caused inundation in several areas.

Thanks to the collaborative work by related agencies in handling the inundation. Now the residents are able to run their activity normally.
